BIO

Natalie Schmidt is an actor, voiceover artist, and voice teacher based in Seattle, WA. Originally from Arizona, she holds a B.A. in Theatre with a concentration in acting from Arizona State University.

 

Natalie recently appeared in Radial Theater's staged reading of My Body, No Choice and in Hello Earth’s Wars Outdoors: Star Wars in the Park series as Princess Leia. Her work has also been seen on the stages of Thalia’s Umbrella, Dacha, Seattle Jewish Theater Company, Burien Actors Theatre, and Arouet, as well as in the short films Relationship Demons, The Noise Made By People, and Insufficient.

 

Natalie is a Designated Linklater Teacher Trainee (projected designation June 2023). She trained at Orkney’s Kristin Linklater Voice Centre, NYC’s Linklater Center, and Canada’s Moving Voice Institute, as well as locally with Master Teachers Judith Shahn and Kimberly White. In April 2022, Natalie was the assistant teacher for KLVC’s Advanced Voice and Sound & Movement with Judith Shahn. 

Natalie is also the Co-Artistic Director of General Gabler's Theatre, which she founded with her wife, local director Helen T. Mariam.
